View Full Version : Quick! Best book for Rigging and Animating…

I'm in overdrive here trying to track down the best book for the money that explains and teaches the best way to rig and animate characters in Lightwave. Not sure if there is anything out there that includes material on "IK Boost"…

(My kids are shopping for my birthday and I have to put a "wish list" together for them to shop from.)

Any Ideas?

You can't go wrong here http://www.kurvstudios.com/lightwave/ DVD's for IK booster and Bones done by Splinegod.... And among the many freebee's at http://www.kurvstudios.com/free_tutorials/ there is a number on rigging... Not purchased any books on bones yet so can't say which is or isn't worth getting. But, I can say the DVD's are worth every penny.......

Cartoon Character Creation, by Jonny Gorden

It will easily earn the title of "The LW Book for Learning to Rig"

This is like Larry Schultz's work in writing. Deep. Yet, simple.
