Thank you friends

It is incredible the power of this program,
this image only has 2 lights, the time of render is of 2 minutes
you don't have radiosity, the adjustment of the lights always makes it from the diffuse of the materials.
You have many but control.

A greeting to all

This really fools my eyes.

The only thing that looks cg to me is the wood on the door. I dont know what it is, maybe the diffuse or something.

The wood looks too clean and sharp edged to me.. compared to the rest of the house.

Ok here has the detailles of the door, as truth the inferior parts of those
doors this very wornout one, for blame of the rain and the bad time.
I believe that already this very wornout one.

Detailles door

My theory was right now that I see the wireframe:

The doorway is too sharp. You have to bevel that edge a bit and maybe add a dent somewhere. That's what looked CG to me.

The more I looked at the image, I see the same thing with the board going across the front of the door - too sharp on it's edges.

Looks great! How did you get the textures?

Hello
The textures are of my property, with my digital apparatus of pictures,
the day I spend capturing images for the street,
then I prepare the compositions in a program of picture retouches.
and I mix them with lightwave procedurals.

I will give him but detailles in the doors is true that it lacks to bevel the sides.

Well, kudos for making your own textures. I bought a digital camera last year for the same reason.

So, since it's only 2min/frame, are you going to make an animation?

Hello

He/she forgives for not responding you soon,
I don't go to make a movie, the purpose of this work the only
an image, anything but.
The digital camera, they are very good to get textures in
I siege as, remain silent, forests, small towns, there are so many things
that to capture that the only one that we don't have a lot, is the time to capture this images.
Truth?

Eh Pierre, you have a French name yet the way you write I don't think your first language is French. Just curious to know what is your native language/tongue ?

Nice work by the way. I agree with bevelling your door and maybe to make up a diffuse map. I think this is what bothers allot of us, just because the diffusion seems flat a little bit. If you do have a diffuse map maybe you should increase the threshold.

I'm currently doing my first architectural project and I will be posting something soon. Keep in touch and hopefully I will get constructive criticism like this too!

Ah bon!!

Pierre est-ce que tu utilise un logiciel qui transcrit de français a Anglais? Parce-ce que des fois je ne comprend pas toute tes phrases.

A bientot!

Pardonne moi pour les accents je n'ai qu'un clavier anglais.

I suppose you didn't get the babelfish reference I made earlier. Nobody's attempt at English could be that bad. If that didn't clue you in, the "He/She" should have, genius.

Bonjour patrick

Oui effectivement j’utilise un logiciel pour transcrire mon français
a anglais, donc je vais faire un peu attention a ma façon d’écrire.

Mercie Patrick.

J’ai hâte de voir ton travail d’architecture.

A bientôt
