hi all,

i'm missing the Background Conform (BGConform) plug-in in my lightwave 8!
a search in this forums told me that it was in the 7.5 legacy plugins, embedded inside the plugin 'spherize.p', but this apparently does not work in release 8.

even the online help files don't mention anything about a pc only version.

is there any other solution for lw 8 on osx out there?

it's a pity that as a mac user i've again got the feeling of being disadvantaged

cheers

They are all there - as you can see in this 'hilarious' example.

You need to manually load them in. There should be a folder called 'legacy Plugins' in the top level of you LW8 folder.

Slap them in and you laughing...well almost.

steve,

thanks you for your help - after a first test they did not work, but after a retry i can confirm what you say. funny things... :-)

it should be mentioned in help and manuals that for the mac version you can find them under another name in the 'legacy folder'. hope that newtek reads this...
