Hello,

In the volumetric light settings you have a couple of settings like

Attenuation
Red Shift

Are there any realworld settings available for say incandecant bulb, halogen lamp, car headlight, sodium streetlight etc?..

Or maybe just general trends from a cold light to a hot light?

There are no settings like those in LightWave.
There are volumetric presets that you can use as a starting point to get what you are looking for.
Adjusting red shift neg will get you blue and pos will get you red. So you can use that to sort of play with temp. But I do not think it directly corolates to it.
Could be wrong though. :)
LightWave 3D 8 Lighting by Nicholas Boughen is a great resource if you want to learn more about setting up lighting in LightWave.
