(Using LW 7.5)

Is there any way for particle collisions, etc. to be based on the geometry of the objects attached to the particles using FX Linker, rather than on the actual particles' spherical "geometry"?

Nope, that would require real dynamic simulations.

You can try messing with the Particle Size. This is normally set to 0. You can give it roughly the same size as the objects you are attaching to the particles. This is really just a cheat.

Other than that, you would have to set up your simulation to use HardFX instead. This way, the actual dimensions of your objects will be calculated in the simulation.
