(Using LW 7.5)

Is there any way to bake procedural textures to images (not by baking the entire object) in LW? I did a scene recently in which the main object had a ton of procedurals, and only that object rendered ridiculously slowly, so I'd like a way to avoid this in the future.

No matter if you want to bake the entire object or just one surface, you always need to have a UV map in place. The rest of the process is the same. Or am I misunderstanding you?

In the Image editor you can add the plug-in 'Textured Filter' to your images, apply procedurals, then open the image in the viewer and save it from there - also handy for viewing procedurals in OpenGL, apply the filter to a blank texture map -
