Fools rush in where angels fear to tread..

Not saying it won't work, but you are in for some deep hurting. Motion Designer can barely handle flags. Good luck.

I have tried many times to get a decent T-Shirt with ClothFX but with no luck so far. If the object has too many points it just locks up and refuses to work. ClothFX seems to prefer simplicity. -like the objects in the Lightwave 8 pre-release hype videos.

ClothFX didn't live up to the hype. As a customer I feel burned and am looking into other options. Download the Cinema4D demo and see if that will meet your needs.

Good luck (you'll need it)

I'm not sure exactly what's covered, but I think Kretin's new book goes over dynamics and cloth a bit... from the table of contents

3.9 Rigging Clothes
Weight Mapping
Independant Clothing Controls
Preparing the Final Object
