Hello everyone,
I'd like some opinions on the best KVM switch for the Mac. So far it looks like the choice is between the i/o gear miniview III and the Belkin SOHO USB units. Are there any others?

Currently, my setup consists of an i/o gear GCS104U, one Pmac G4, three Beige G3s (USB Upgrd), Sony W900 VGA Display, Apple Adjustable Keyboard w/ imate, Wacom Graphire I tablet, and a Kensington wireless trackball.

Unfortunately i/o gear does not support trackballs in general and there is little documentation on the issue with Belkin.
In addition, there are always artifacts on the screen at my native bit depth of 1600x1024. Do ?Premium" or ?Gold" cables really make a difference?

As always, any input would be greatly appreciated :)

I've been using a Dr. Bott MonoSwitch Pro for about a year or so, and it rocks.
Dual monitor support, USB, A-D dial-style switch.
(I'm using it for one Mac and 3 PCs)

Any artifacts? What resolution/bit-depth are you using?

I have tried dr.Bott switchers with classic style Mac connectors before with many artifacts at 1600x1024 Bit-Depth.
