View Full Version : Lightwave Animation

I am responsible for the majority of modeling and animation. The only shot where i didnt model almost everything is the painter shot. I did help in setting it up and animating. I also did about half of the texturing in the rest of the shots and alot of setup. We had 3 people in our team

- Heavy Modeling/Animation/Texture/Setup guy (me).
- Light Modeling/Texturing/Lighting/Directing guy
- Post processing guy (after effects for some of the atmospheric effects and fixes).

I personally worked 6 weeks on the project (lots of OT) and then the rest of the team put in about 2 weeks more to mainly do finishing/post and render out some shots.

Wow... that's beautiful. Nice pacing. And as a South Carolinian, I'll look for that one on TV. Do you know when it will it will air?

Awesom stuff man! Great camera mouvement! Didi it take a lot to render? Are those Hypervoxels (the smoke)?

You need to include that on your demo reel! The demo reel stuff is cool, too, but this is the best thing of yours that I've seen so far. Great work.

thanks for all the comments folks, ill be updating my site shortly after my current project is done.

The only hypervoxels in the animations are the paint nozzles.

I have to give lots of credit to my team mates Chris Bialkowski for all the post and editing and David Johnson for his directing and vision. He did alot of modeling as well (some of the stuff didnt make it into the final cut due to run time constraints) I have no idea when this spot will be played in SC as its totally up to powerball.

The music is temporary, its not the final choice because they needed something they could have exclusive copyrights to. Im using this for personal portfolio so its fair use for me.

looks very good.

Yep, all editing was done with after effects - in the highly capable hands of mr. Bialkowski. The smoke is made with something called particle effects or something to that effect (cant remember the name).

Thanks for the comments. :)
