View Full Version : hair polygon problem

i've made some hair polygons. Then i applied a hair texture on them (so with transparency on it). My problem is: because specularity is turn on, transparent parts reflects light and make a weird effects.
I'd like to use the same way to make the eyelash but because of this reflection we can see the whole polygon (whereas there's still some transparency...)
am i clear...
thanks for your help!

Copy the transparency map and place it on the specularity channel, then click the invert layer button (because the "white" parts of the texture will have high specularity levels and the "black" parts wont have any specularity). Hope this helps.
