Making_Cracked_Ground_Texture For A Mars LandScape
I want to simulate the ground having a very, like mud, cracked look, Any Ideas

Did you check the presets. There are some that are close to what your looking for. Perhaps to could alter one of these to make it more usable. Try the one under nature called dry lake.

Like he says, dry lake preset.

You may also want to get the Simbiont For LW Shader from www.darktree.com [I think that's the right site name]. The plugin is free, and contains many landscape texture presets. They are excellent!!

DarkTree is the external application to make procedurals.

I do have to admit, I like darktree textures. One thing to keep in mind though, read the license agreement. The procedurals that come with the shader are ok for renders, but they can not be redistributed. So if you plan on selling your mesh don't use the free textures, your better off buying darktree and making your own.

Thanks I have the darktree shaders,
forgot all about them,
I will give it a try,
will up load a image when i get my network running ,
just moved and well my machines allways get kinda mad at me for awhile
