I need a bit of help.

My Lightwave 7.0 CD has unfortunetly become 'bad'

It will only install so far, and then error out.

I have the 7.0 CD, and have downloaded the upgrades to 7.5c (no d yet)

I will be doing a reformat soon so I figured I better get on the ball here and find out what I need to do to fix this issue. I am fully registered, USB dongle and all.. but the CD is no longer good.

I also plan on upgrading to 8.0
Has anyone encountered this problem? I am wondering what it will cost me for a CD replacement. Am I better off just heading to ebay and buying one of those "package" deals where I can get 7.5 + the 8.0 upgrade for 400-500 dollars? Or will they replace the CD (minues the dongle) for a small fee?

I'm at a loss as what to do here.

I would just upgrade to Lightwave 8. It's a stand alone installation and you won't need your Lightwave 7 CD at all.

I know in the past they had replacement CD's for a small fee, but better yet, if I remember correctly, the 7.5 (b? c?) on line upgrades were complete - you didn't need your original CD's.

Try creating a separate directory and loading the 7.5 upgrade
