Windows 2000 workstation doesn't have Terminal Services (only win2k server has it I think). If you have the Server version, make sure the TSE service is running. If you have the workstation version, there may be other ways to do it using Netmeeting or VNC

Yea misusing Netmeeting for remote administration is fun... :D
Not intended for that, but you can still do pretty much with it. You only shouldn't accidently disable the wrong LAN connection of the remote PC *lol*

can't we install Terminal Services on windows 2000 ?

are windows2000 windowsNT the same thing ?

we are using vnc but it's so slow..

I used remote desktop connection from winXP and it was so fast !
(controlling another pc)

I'm trying to access the windows2000 PCs now..

I use TightVnc, and have no problem : it's reasonably fast. A remote shutdown service is what I use most, together with Wake on Lan, as the remote pc is essentially a Spider rendering node.
