Hi all.

I want to put some old lightwave anims to dvd for resume purposes. These anims are in 768x576 in motion jpeg. This footage uses a codec from an old nonlinear gfx card.

My question is:

I need a dvd encoding software that besides other thigs, deals with video fields and leave them intact! So i won't loose the smoothness of the anims, any recomendations?

The video fields of the anims are in reverse mode (b first) is this mode compatible with major dvd players, or do i have to swap the field dominance?

Help much appreciated

DVDs require 480-line (NTSC) video, which is even field first, as is PAL.

Does that assume that the first line is numbered 1, or 0?

Since 1 is an odd number, the first field would be 0.
