Guys I've got some info i would like to share with you. I Recently built a new Raid Array. It Consits of a Highpoint 1820a Raid Card and 4 Western Digital SATA HDs. It Works Great I highly recomend the Highpoint Raid Card I paid $204 for an 8 port 64 bit pci version and it rocks.

Not bad..... that's about double of what my regular IDE RAID (4X40gb) returns, but the U320 SCSI averages about 260-275 mb/s.

For 3-4 streams, I'd say that's a good value!

Did you put this in a separate case or stuff everything into a server box?
