View Full Version : playing DivX AVI in DDR

I've managed to get a DivX AVI into a configuration that it plays back through the DDR however I get no audio at all out of it. The AVI plays back audio just fine through any other media playing program. Any advice on how to get my audio?

My next step is to rip out the audio as a seperate track and play them both simultaniously, but I noticed that because of occassional sync glitches with the DDR files played in that fashion don't match up. It's a risk I don't mind taking, but I'd rather keep audio and video in the same file. Any advice?

You could rerender it to a DV Type 2 from the timeline.
Play that version.
Extra step.

Thanks very much for the help, that seems to have done the trick with audio. Problem I have now is the video is playing back at very low quality. The original video is rendered in DivX 5.x codecs, is there a video codec you know of that's compatable that I could set to keep the video quality?

What codec did you use to render to?
