View Full Version : Tip: Making one undo in an lscript(modeler).

Just thought I'd post this, cause I'd seen quite few LScripts with more than one undo step, which might be unnecessary.
After you've performed your operation to make new geometry, select the new geometry, copy it, then undo all your actions to make the new geometry, then paste it back in. This means you have to keep track of how many operations you do, but that isn't that hard, and it means the user only sees one undo. If anyone can add to this, or give a better technique, please go right ahead :)

There is undo grouping, but it crashes everytime and thus it's not in the docs :p Hopefully that'll get fixed sometime soon :)
