Once upon a time I played around with a huge pile of gold coins. I placed a lot of coins (via Point-Clone) on a mesh which did have a coin texture (and bump map) apllied to it and together it looked quite o.k.

Now with Hard FX I thought it should be possible to let it rain 50.000 gold coins on this pile without having coins intersecting each other and the gold-coin texture on my mesh should be hidden beneath them. This might even look better.

But then: 50.000 objects in Layout? Ooops.

Will it be possible to place this one gold coin object so many times with the help of PS or/and FX Linker and Hard FX?

And then, the main question: Can I export this scene as one object (All the coins with UV Maps in one .lwo-file)?

As I did have to cheat before, I thought now is the right time to do it a bit more proper.

Any help is welcome.

There is a Load From scene Plugin which works in modeler which loads your objects into one layer. Find it on Flay.com.
