Here's the finished product, i will be putting it in a 3 minute movie with 3 mechs. Atlas, kodiak and chimera. this is the first big step in a long process, i also have to find out how to use skelegons

nice modeling-
ive noticed nothing is casting shadow in the image? perhaps you forgot to turn of "ray trace shadows" in the render options?
no shadows makes the image look weak

i tried that, and it froze on my comp... an i need a good metal texture, and i cant get my reflection maps working *grrrr*

Is this going to be a realistic combat situation? If so, you would most likely have minimal reflective surfaces except for the joints. Good to see some Battletech on here :)
