View Full Version : Bit of a downer at Siggi?

Ok, the live feed from the event was buggy - at least where I was, hanging, choppy etc.. Apart from that, I hated the poor production values that seemed to be in place, Poor camera placement, sloppy operation, no reall attempt to pull the event together into a slick production that the VT3 is capable of in the hands of talented operators. Not a very good way to demo the product?

Some nice video clips - when they ran!

Sorry I got bored by it all, and went back to work.

But then again, maybe we can fix it inpost

Hate to do it, but I have to agree.

Yesterday was solid, day before and today choppy.
Couple camera angles seem like jump cuts, and what is with that overhead side angle?

This is my first exposure to Kiki and although I certainly appreciate her legacy and many Toasters who I have become to admire and respect seem to hold her in high regard, I have found her a bit annoying. Seems to be trying too hard and interrupts a lot.

Wish I had been around to see some Don and Ralph everyone raves on.

Sorry for a negative post but gotta get it out sometimes.

Aren't these all the same complaints that were made about the NAB stream?

Newtek isn't a video production company, they are a manufacturer...

Not to do this to death, I dont really mind Kikki being there.... It's just that without direction, both technical and program and with camera opps. who care how the picturei s framed - moment to moment - ya got nothing. It looks like bad local cable production (sorry cable guys). It 's not showing the Vt3 capabilities off in the best way. You dont feel the power.......You can produce that kinds stuff using Radio Shack stuff.

You guys have me thinking... (This is scary)

If we had a superstar crew that wanted to volunteer to "produce" the show.. I may be willing to consider something!

see Ya,

I don't know what is crazier. You thinking or me volunteering.

We have had "some live" experience in these sort of things... :)
remember the Wavy awards in San Antonio a few years ago...

Consider the PIZAZZ crew's name in the pot. Have VTtoGO ready to GO!

Seriously Phillip, give Brett and I a call and let's talk.

There is no doubt in my mind that you are crazy!!! I've known that for a long time! :->

Wow, for me NAB would be a little far to go....but!
Think of the possibilities for Producers, Directors, Tech. Directors , Audio Guys, Camera Opps, CG and Graphic Artists etc.,etc......

Maybe a chance to really show the world what VT3/4 can really do.
