Hey, I'm trying to set up screamernet via Matt's tutorial:
http://vbulletin.newtek.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=24065&highlight=screamernet+tutorial

But I've come to a problem early on with what I'm assuming is an XP problem?

To make a shortcut to Lightwave that uses a different config directory he says to make the target:

C:\Program Files\LightWave\Programs\LightWav.exe -cC:\Program Files\LightWave\config

But when I try to do that it says 'The name specified in the Target box is not valid. Make sure the path and the filename are correct.

Thats where my program is, and where the config directory is. Am I missing something about how to do this in XP?

Your help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

You will have to enclose the path name in quotes because of the space in 'program files'. It should read like this:

"C:\Program Files\LightWave\Programs\LightWav.exe" -c"C:\Program Files\LightWave\config"

Yep, Gordon is correct! If you have spaces in your path name you need to enclose the path in quotes " "

Same goes for any paths in the batch files you'll encounter later on.
