Here's one of the first things I've actually put some time into texturing. It's some old skateboard wheel I had lying around.

It is amazing how every wheel standing up has an orange dot in the 4 o'clock position!

Those look pretty real. Need new bearings though, thems rough.

Here's a newer version that I have re-rendered to correct a few wheel positions and increase the depth-of-field so the focus is more even. This is the final version I'm doing. Yes, there could be newer bearings and there could be more dinged up wheels, but the wear and tear is accurate for the wheel I was modelling. Clearly I've only modelled and textured one wheel, but it's just a practice at texturing and lighting anyway so I'm very happy with it.
