What the heck is this? I checked for 2 point polys, I checked to make sure it's not a seam in the texture map, I tried removing the texture uvs, I tried unwelding it all and rewelding and I can't get rid of it....

...I'm stumped.

I can only guess but it looks like it may be due to points being very close to each other or taking up the same space. Perhaps you modelled one half of the head, mirrored it, but did not merge points along the Y axis.

Try Merging Points, you may need to increase the threshold a touch.

Tried that too...got a pointer off of CGtalk. I just deleted the faces, rebuilt and the line was gone...weird.

I get this sometimes, usually caused by a two point polygon between the points. Merge points can sometimes cause this problem. Use Stats to select polys that have only 2 points and delete them. (obviously only works if you don`t have any intentional 2 point polys) :)
