i am animating (trying to animate) a skateboarder as a stick man, and have all the modelling done, i used 2 point polys all linked together for the body, but want to make it appear thicker.
is there anyway i can achieve this without resorting to using cylinders, im not the best at character rigging..

Object Properties>Edges Tab>Line Size
It has presets, but you can also type in any number for the pixel size.

Nope because they're only two dimensional :P

If you need shadows, take your figure back into modeler, and extrude the 2-point polys (you may want to extrude them in several directions for the thickness you desire). You should be able to control this to get very thin polys that will cast shadows. This is useful for glow type effects when you want the poly to be very thin, but still cast a shadow.
