Here is message I got when loading a knee morpf made with Modelers 'Create Joint Morph'

I got a more powerful Computer than I thought
:D :D :D
Just imagine what could be made knowing that LW can handle this:)

And they say LW got optimised somewhat, but that seems to be a big friggin understatement :D

So, what number are you up to now on the mapping? :p

When I modeled the leg, I said screw polys
I'm building realistic...cell by cell All parented to a null.:D
So far I've textured 274 of them (the RNA is taking the longest as each has it's own map so there is some difference:)
so at this rate (5 maps a day), I should be done in what....when the sun turns into a red giant?

Strange thing is..it's NOT a error
I can duplicate it every time and as long as I press NO trhen it dosen't crash, hit yes and 'POOF' Layout is gone.

Seems like you've found something that begins with "b" and end with "ug" ;)

Man, I just can't stop laughing! I rate this as the absolutely funniest remark I've read on any forum.
I'm speechless - cause I can't catch my breath.

I have an LScript that generates RNA maps and which will dramatically speed up your workflow.

Couple of downside though:

1. You have to use the entire human genome file as input.
2. I believe they've only mapped Michael Moore or Michael Jackson (I can't remember which one).
3. It will still take 600 years.

but here's the real killer:

4. It only runs on Windows...... (NT or XP).

Greg...
please... spread it! :D

WOO HOO !!!
Thanks GregMalick..that'll save eons off my workload:D

Yes, by all means, spread it around, ya never know when THAT LScript will come in handy for others;)

But now to a more important question..
what should I charge the customer for this model?
Flat rate or hourly?:D

Exper

I'd go for... hourly! :D  :D

Now what are you going to do for the other leg of the charictor, I mean you can't just give him one. Now what do you think your estimated finish time will be? The sun will most likely explode by the time you are done.

When you are desining the leg, do you make the cell with the nucules and all the scientific elements, or are they just circles?

The sun would be a black hole by the time you anyone could CALCULATE how long the render rimes would be! Of course, you do have on of the demention's fastest computers.

Really..I gotta thank Newtek for thinking ahead for me.
Which is why they put the 'mirror' tool

Just for objects like this one.......:D

And I was thinking about hours too but then it hit me...they may not be around in 150 billion years, so I will ask for flat fee with half now and the rest when it is finished;)

And I charged a reasonable rate, they got the MEGA_QUANTITY discount of $1.53 per object.

And what about that "copy" and "paste" tool...

prospector

No copy/paste here

If your gonna do a job..do it right;)

That's what I always say

so what are you up to now?

prospector

I am up to 4 bottles of vodka a day trying to forget.
When I sleep, I am up to my ears in living breathing cells, slowly sending out some neurons into my brain saying over and over....'I'm alive!!! I'm alive!!!"

I swear I can see cell goo coming out of the corners of the monitor and dripping on my desk.

But I AM A LIGHTWAVER *****T, I just know this is an illusion......I think.
