What is the biggest 3D related forum on the net?

(If not the biggest, then one of the biggest :))

Curious:
Why?

It would be a good place to search for resources.

I would mildly disagree.
Searching for general resources is better done through google or some such search engine. Searching for something lw related is best done through http://flay.com .

The answers on your other thread offer great places for lw related resources.

And to round them out....

http://members.shaw.ca/lightwavetutorials/Main_Menu.htm

The links people have posted here will pretty much get you everything (or a link to everything) you need dealing with LightWave. Obviously, www.newtek.com for more tutorials....

Is there something specific you are looking for?

Well, actually. I am searching for bigger guides about subjects like lighting, modelling, subpatches, splines, scenes, etc. Kind of like the books you buy about lightwave, but smaller and free.

I have read all the basic guides, and I want to take a step into more advanced things. I know how to do stuff, I want to know how do it more effective and more beautiful. :)

I guess it is hard to find such things for free, when the author can just sell it for money.

Holger, never give up on your quest for knowledge. I admire people who love what they do enough to do it on their spare time and continue looking for new info.
