What's 4rm? Is that a custom plugin? Maybe it has some buggy code.

LOL, I think it's a shorthand for from? Took me a while to figure that one.

Okay, sorry for laughing but if 4rm= from just spell it out, if not I apologize.

Are you saying your polygon count triples? If so do you have subdivision surfaces active on any objects? Layout will give you the subdivided count.

Sorry for the "4rm" just playing around .
Where do i go to change the setting surface subdivide in modeler and where do i chec to see the subdivide count in layout .

P.S i get annoyed at people who cant "kommunic8" in a fun way - this is supposed to be fun isn't it .

SORRY if i caused so much trouble in this forum , but i really need some help , so if we could just drop the complaining please .

P.S - I dont have the manual for Lightwave 8 yet . THANKS!!!!!

Most of the 7.5 manual is pertinant to 8. If you are in the US you can download the manual as of yesterday.

In modeler you set the "Patch Divisions" in the general option.

In layout you set the level for both display and rendering per object in the object properties dialog.
