Just noticed this with a new picture in the T[3] at NAB section.

"Video Toaster [3] allows full ramping control of the speed of your ToasterEdit clips. Smoothly slow the clip to a stop in real-time." (http://www.newtek.com/products/videotoaster/info/vt3/toaster-edit.html)

I think I fried my keyboard from drooling tooooooo much.

This is something I have to fake in production often. If this is true, WOW!!!
I wonder if this includes the reverse, as well as to and from normal speed?

I love this type of feature! :)

I'm sure it would be bidirectional, it's probably an animated keyframing of the speeds with smooth (bias, tension and continuity adjustable) tweening inbetween.

Brilliant! I use this in After Effects all the time (its called time remapping there). One more thing I don't have to got to AE for...

Yes it is true!, and you can ramp anything in ted. This is a feature I asked for last year and they came through again.
