Hey guys,

I still feel fairly new to lightwave, but I feel that I had to give myself a project to learn with. Sooooo I'm working on a lipsync animation for myself involving the late Rapper Notorious B.I.G. HA!. I figured its a great combonation, he was an obese man. So its a great modeling challenge, and he had a lisp so it'd be a great animation challenge aswell. Anyways, I'd Love everyones Critique.

Oh I almost forgot! the reason why I'm posting is I want my skin texture to be as realistic as possible, I have the Dan Ablan Lightwave book. I was just wondering if anyone could offer some additional advice or a web tutorial link on the fine art of skin texturing.

Here's a few links that might help you.

Hi there HuggieBear,

First of all Congrats for subject choice and for what u have made with it...there are some things i will try to make better, but uve done a pretty good model, and its difficult to make good fat characters...

I ll throw ya some suggestions...

The flow of lines coming from the cheek up to the nose need some touching, the flow isnt natural, also theres some chaos of masses going on the eyebrows zone...but the lips are gracefully done, really nice, the lips and the areas around them...great work there, eyes and eyelids...mmmm...well the bottom eyelid should be more rounded, like there is fless in there...

Here are some links regarding Head texturing( im myself texturing my char...)...

Oh nice! Love those eyebrow worry lines! So much character! Some really subtle modeling going on in this head.

Have you ever thought of modeling a skinny black guy, like, oooh...Huggie Bear, f`rinstance? He`s got a great face with loads of character. It`d give you a good excuse to watch the show again! :D

PS. If you have a Huggie Bear model avatar, excuse me: I have them disabled! :)
