View Full Version : HardFX and HardLink

Here is my problem:

I'm trying to get a bone (or anything) to follow object deformed with HardFX. HardLink seem to work only with SoftFX & ClothFX, but not with HardFX, am I right?

Is there any other way to do this?

Either just save and load the motion onto another object using Save and Load Motion under the File tab inside the HardFX interface (won't work for bones) or "bake" out the motion onto a new null using the MakePath under the Commands dropdown menu in the EditFX tab (of HardFX). Then either just parent the item to this null or use the regular Save and Load Motion File commands under the File dropdown menu at the top of Lightwaves interface to copy the motion from the null to the other item.
