View Full Version : LScript newbie

I would like to make LScripts, but I have some doubts...
1) I am looking into LW8 LScript possibilites, but I only found a reference on the manual:
Note: For more information about LScripts see the Lscript Reference Manual and User Manual.
Where are these manuals located?

2) Is there any syntaxis guide to LScript?

3) Is there a complete command list? Or it is the one found on LCommander on Layout?

:D I know I sometimes ask too much (or too little).

I posted too fast if I kept reading, my first question was answered on the same Docs page... let me keep on reading to see if I find more questions, but anyway, any help would be appreciated.

BTW: Does anyone knows of another IDE besides the LSED and LSID included? Is there a need on another IDE that goes boeyond the new ones on LW8?

Thanks! :)

I am felling kinda of lonely on this thread, but I have yet another question.. maybe somebody at the NT staff might help.

I am reading the documentation that came with LW[8], but I found that the LScript book chapter is ordered in alphabetical order, instead of by chapter order. Can anyone tell me which is the correct reading order? Thanks! :D

I wish you the best of luck. I too want to make plugins, but because of the lack of good books on lscript, I have bought a C++ book off of ebay instead. Once I have the basics down, maybe I can try to start writing plugins. I hope. :)

Actually, what I am trying to do is a tutorial video for all those of us who try to write into lscript... I am not trying to cover external plugins via the SDK (yet).

The main idea is to have this videos in spanish, as well as of english... although, I still don't know if somebody might be interested on such a material. :)
