Help please... I ran a search in the html help for "baking dynamics" and came back with HyperVoxels, IKBooster, and Motion Options Panel. From those three, obviously motion options sounded most promising, though the FX_Motion plug doesn't work either, and now I'm just stuck.

I have a saved file for a hardbody simulation (flying golf ball, in this case). I want to parent the camera to the ball, so as to follow the flight path. Great, except according to the Graph Editor, nothing goes anywhere. I've tried selecting the entire timeline and baking, but all keys were created at their original values. I tried the FX_Motion plug - no love there, either.

How do I bake actual XYZ from an FX sim so I can parent an object to the resulting motion path?

Have you tried the EDIT panel on the balls Hard dynamics tab?
Create a path with the Commands popup, and parent the camera to the resulting Null. You might need to edit out any spin on the path.

 Didn't even know that was there! It's exactly what I'm looking for! Thank you!
