Hi all..

Anyone know if ScreamerNet - and/or any of the previously mentioned network render products can save out RPF format files?

Seems to be a problem because RPF export is an Image Filter and not an Image Saver. This is a complete bummer.

help!

(RLA & LW don't get on - if its not wrong material ID's its huge file size - etc.. RPF works really well)

I have no idea why this shouldn't work..as long as you use the same paths in your image filter (if you use UNC i suggest you use that in that filter aswell...)

\\Computername\Shareddirordrive\projectdir\renders \fileoutput_ name

or

\\Computername\Renderoutputdir\filename_

or an example

\\Renderfarm01\Projects\Radtest\Renders\rt_

Same problem here. RPF files are not saving. It is very frustrating.

Forget my previous post, they are now saving.

..thanks for the reply Red_Oddity.. but all is well now as Paul at http://news.liquiddreamsolutions.com/ has updated ButterflyNet to 3.03 - to include pixel filter support!

this works really well.. as when a pixel filter (in my case .RPF export) is selected normal savers are disabled..

TIPTOP! - I really can recommend ButterFlyNet software..
