Displacment in modeler?

Can you use a displacment map in modeler, and then save the resulting model with the displaced polys, without having to use the displacement map in the future, and maybe 'qemLOSS2' it to save some resources, or use it for normal map creation etc.
Or is there any way to use a displaced geometry for normal maps.

Just look for Texture Point Map command. It can create vmaps (weights or endomorph) from textures. Unlike many tools that use panels in LW, this one is non-modal... ahh!

So I guess, either just create an endomorph, then apply it by 100% to the base then run qemloss (im guessing it only looks at the base mesh which would be flat without the previous step). Or create a weightmap, then use move tool with Falloff set to weight to drag out the height you desire. Lastly, Qemloss it.

You can add displacement in layout then save transformed object. BTW, Marvin Landis just posted in the third party section that he has released his QEMLoss 3 plug for download. It has more control then QEMLoss 2, and be sure to thank him!
