i've just started a flash mx course last week and like the idea of flash and the "virtual ligt table" where you can see "ghosts" of previous and next frames as you'd see if you are a trad animator..not found that function on lightwave as yet but in the class i teach i showed the students that 3ds max has "ghost frames" or onion skinning...

so other 3d apps already have this function..so it should be pretty simple to make for lightwave..

in 3ds max's ghost frames your ghosted frames after your current frame is one wire color and the ones before are a different wire color..

you have the option to look back and forward as set amount and also set up nth frames so it displays every 3rd or 5th frame...
there are option to only look back or only look forward or to look back and forward....

this is very usefull for character animatioon and was disapointed to find it's not in lightwave 8.0 as this release was all about character animation...so can we have this please or can someone write a free plugin to do this?......................

so is there a plugin for lightwave 7 or 8.0 for this function as you can get a good feel for how your animation arcs are working...

proton?....can we have this in lightwave 8.1 please?
