Layout allows a custom sketch color - why not in Modeler as well? Seems easy enough... 8.5 maybe?

I didn't realize, but you can actually have different sketch colors for different sets of polygons in Modeler. Simply select some polygs, change sketch color, and its applied only to the selected polys. That's cool!

yes and it does it all by itself sometimes too which puzzles me...

Well, so far, this is the behavoir I've observed: The "Default Sketch Color" in the Display Options determines the sketch/wireframe color of all new geometry (unless the new geometry is created from other geometry such as beveling). Once specified, geometry seems to hold its sketch color. But then, I haven't paid too much attention to this.

Happened to me that i setup a diufferent sketch color for my mesh to have a black wireframe shaded color, but when i deleted a half of the head and mirrored it, the new geometry had my default white wireframe color !!!!:D

but i hit sketch color again and so i fixed it immediately.

annoying thing though.
