Hullo there,
In Layout I have a scene with multiple clones of a wooden object. I would like to add some randomization to the texturing of these and was wondering if it is possible to use something like the current object's index in the scene as input to a rand() function.

Does anyone know if it's possible to find such a static feature of the current object??

In my case I guess I could use the coordinates of the object, as they are not going to be moving around, but in the more general situation it would be great if there is another property - like a hash of the object's name or more simply just the object's number in the scene.

Any input is greatly appreciated!
