OK, I have a string of random shaped objects that go randomly across the screen on a fixed path. at 000 I have a light.

I need the light to light as the objects pass across the light, keeping in mind the randomness of the object, (ie the big objects keep light on longer than the smaller ones).

Any pointers?

On a side note
Where is the PDF for 8?????

The pdf is not; it's on f1 as a help file.

You need to do a proximity expression -- something akin to if lightgoingby is xdistance from ME, then MEintensity goes to 100. Otherwise, MEintesity is always 5.
I really can't describe it in the native language as I haven't futz with it enough...like I should. I use Relativity, instead. This is something of a preset in Relativity.
Hope that gets you on the road.
