hi all..

I have what i hopeis a simple newbie issue
I have set up a particle emitter thats linked to a star object and set the camera underneath to get that "stars falling towards the camera" look. However upon rendering the stars all appear to be generated at once and are sitting visible in the emitter box until they fall. I would like them i either appear one at a time..which is what i thought would happen... or i would like them to appear to fade in..
Help!
Any thoughts?

Are you using partigons? In which case on the transparency channel you could use a gradient which is set to 'Distance from object' and set the target to the emitter itself, and then fade in the partigons as they move away from the emitter.
