Hey guys, haven't posted here in a while... I just finished this up.

Hope you like it :)

The Back

Excellent work.

Just a small point. The relections on the car show a building with white window frames which looks a bit odd. Because it doesn't match the section of building that we can see. Plus also it looks like the car is parked under or near an archway which makes me think that the building should continue in the same style. If you get what I mean.

Again great stuff.

The reflections and background image come from a 360 degree HDR image mapped onto a sphere, and the white windows you see in the reflection are indeed supposed to be there, you just can't see them in the shot. They are just above the camera's view.

And no it's not under an archway it's actually in a square which is surrounded by buildings.

Wow, very nice work. That is a good job of compositing... where did you get that HDR image? Did you make it?

Things I like:

The paint job- Very convincing.

The headlights- nice details

The rear window- again, excellent attention to detail.

Things I don't like as much:

Aren't the door handles and muffler tips made of polished chrome on the real Z? They don't look shiny enough here.

The composite, while very good, is given away by the lack of noise on the render. Dirty it up a bit to match the noise in the BG image.

Those are just nitpicks... like I said, this is very nice work!

EDIT: oh yeah, one more thing... can we see a close up of that interior? It looks awesome!

The best 350z ive seen so far.

Thanks guys it made my day to know you appreciated it :)

marble_sheep, the door handles are actually a sort of brushed silver... and yeah the muffler tips are reflective, I suppose it's just because they aren't catching the light in such a way that they could reflect in this render.

And yeah I know the background is slightly more blurry than the Z, I even played around with blurring the Z a little and adding some noise, etc. And while it looked more realistic in a way because it matched the background I just didn't like the way it looked because some of the detail was lost.

But I could post the blurred one if you want :)

Imatk - awesome job and excellent comp.

marble_sheep - those things are correct. They are brushed metal, not chromed.
