I built some source files that might help get how he did it....not sure if I set it up the same way but maybe close :)

Cool! Man that's alot of chunks of ground falling in. I liked the building falling after the camera passes.

Hey Proton, got a Hard Body Dynamics question for you:

How long does it usually take?

Hehe, I made a set of bricks that was 20 bricks wide (6"Wx2"Hx3"D). I then layed the bricks into alternating rows (just like one would build a house) with an .125" gap between ever brick.

I then created a 3' bounce object and keframed it over 60 frames to plow through.

Next I set the weight to 5.

Then I calculated. This went pretty quick but the result looked like a wake from the boat (which gave me a new idea).

So I turned on self calculation and pushed the calculation button.

Well, 15 hours later it is still calculating. (9:00am EST). I am interested in seeing what it looks like. ANy estimates on how much longer I goto wait?? There are 19,200 3polys in the scene.
