I am having a problem when using modeler.

In perspective mode normally the geometry is diplayed

however, when I zoom in the geometry dissapears. I never had this problem in seven.

I can't figure out what the problem is. I know that in layout you can fix the problem by changing the resolution of the grid, but I can't figure out how to do this in modeler.

Please help me out.

Thanks in advance
Tony

it happens occasionally if you have a big model and you're trying to zoom into a small part.

easiest way to overcome it is select something that is approximately the same scale and place to the thing you want to zoom in on and 'SHIFT-a' zoom extents (fit selected).

that will recalculate the clip planes so that you can see what you need to see....

in your case, zooming in on the verts forming one of those rings in the middle of one of the tubes and shft-a ing it should do it.

You have problems with gfx card drivers. Try use other WHQL drivers for win 2k or win XP i think this should eliminate a problem. I had this same problems and i change drivers and it was ok. Maybe NVIDIA should make drivers for Lightwave if there are making drivers for 3d studio max :)

ps. Sorry i write that you should change drivers for nvidia. Maybe you have ATI gfx chip. If it's true i will write you what drivers you should install.
