-Imagine you could assign seperate weightmaps to the Heading Pitching and Banking of a bone. Would be so much easyer to weight characters.

You could assign no weighmap to the bones Banking, so while it does rotate on the Bank, it would not affect the geometry. Great for a characters shoulders and wrists.

-I'd also like to be able to disable certain parenting channels without using something like follower. Just a menu that would make it possible for me to disable the Rotation of a parent in the childs motion panel.

-Update the Bend "Effector" displacement plugin so we can properly use it in combination with bones. This way we would have powerfull tool to keep something like a characters shoulder in shape. You'd just have to parent the Effector Null to the shoulder bone and it would always stay nicely round.

-a deformation tool like Lattices as in Maya or Max that you can use on top of your bone deformation.

-Weight painting in Layout would make my life sooo much easyer.
I know about Vertex paint but it's just not the same.

I could go on for a while, hope someone from Newtek reads this ;-)
