or to be more accurate, a lot of the displacement plugins dont like each other.

Yepp, have to agree. It's not just displacement also bones do not work in conjunction with certain plugs, channel modifiers are not recognized, motion data is being destroyed/ overwritten, expressions do not work as expected etc.. Actually this is one of the things that makes certain types of animations so limited. LW could be so much more powerful if this could be set right.

(not panikos), but for me, sock monkey overwrites morphs. (but you know that already.. :D)

have you tried contacting the writer? as far as i know the writer ought to be able to access all deformations that have been applied to the mesh. maybe it's displacement baker's problem that it's not accessing the morphs.
