View Full Version : smoke w/o particels&hypervoxels

I got to create a lot of small smoke clouds but for some reasons I cannot use particel or hypervoxel. So Im looking for another way, somekind of spheres with some prozedurales, but its not that simple tofind proper settings. Maybe someone knows a tutorial about that or can give some hints.

If I recall, Splinegod has a CD that tells you how to create objects without have to use hypervoxels or particles. Goto www.splinegod.com I think the CD is a little over $20.

but I forgot to mention, beside HV&particles I cannot use edge transparency^^

I think you can bake the motion of particles in LW8. so you could start your scene as a particle scene then replace the particles with objects with their own motion settings
