View Full Version : (Skinning ) Spherize tool for modeling and Animating...a useful one

It would be good to have a very functional parametric spherize object in lightwave maybe implemented in a "tool"-gons way to be able to use it in modeler and in layout for animating.

I've seen that Messiah Animate 4.0 demo has a tool like this and I think it's amazing for animating muscle structures.

It skins the model in a very powerful way in respect to the effector already present in LW that doesn't work how it should.

Anyway I believe that probably not limitating this to a sphere shape but also allowing custom shapes ( created in modeler or parametric this is why I called them muscle-gons ) to deform geometry in this way could be very interesting and give us the many time asked muscle skinning character features like those present in Maya, XSI or 3DS Max ( Metareyes or ACT ).
