Cavity type Gradient input, to create instant dirt in objects based in the lows and highs of the geometry. Or a tool in modeler that creates weight maps based (again) in the lows and highs of an object, contact objects/surfaces detection would be a +.

That's a nice idea. In the lightwave 7 manual there is a tutorial in the baker section about creating an accessibility map which is one way to simulate the effect.

The free EE_grit accessibility shader does a pretty good job of filling grooves with dirt & is v easy to use.

I´ve used grit, the idea is good but very buggy. I dunno why he doesn´t update that plugin, since it´s a must for lightwave users.

Another thing that drives me crazy is why lightwave users don´t request this feature, since it´s a so powerful and essential tool in photorealism.
