i was just playing around in modeller yesterday night to have a breack from the day to day business..( doing cartoon character )

modelled " on the flow " no reference ..
aiming for a 3d manga style..
still in the process of thinking for the cloth design and cyberwar ..like a cyber arm ..may be a bike.. and other stuff ...

for the moment the body is slighty simple .. cause most of it would be covered by the cloth

more to come as soon i find some time to update :-)

comment and critiqiue are welcome..

( as design idea for the cloth and cyberware )

Not bad. Actually the only thing that bothers me is that maybe she looks a bit young? I don't know if it's quite her face or her body proportions (obviously it's not her development, although lack of body hair doesn't help), but she looks like she's only 12 or 13. How old is she supposed to be?

The youth MAY come from the pudgy cheeks and sloped shoulders. I can't really tell either. But it looks really good. Simple is better in some cases!
The only thing that remotely distracts me is in the back view: where the arm meets the body seems a little odd. Sorry I can't be more specific, but it looks ... um... forced?
Over all a nifty model.

"X" marks the spot, heh heh.

Well, she has a mighty long crack for a tiny, skinny girl. Otherwise, it's a cool, stylized figure. Let's see her move!

It's definately from the sloped shoulders. Try scrolling up/down to cover the rest of her body or face, and see what happens when you cover her shoulders with your beautiful IE window. It will definately make her look older when you cover them.

I'm not sure how detailed you want the underlying anatomy but one thing that would help square the shoulders would be adding the shape of the collarbones.

The breast shape is a bit unusual also. In the middle side profile shot you can see that the upper half of the breast has a positive circular shape. It should be more straight or sometimes even a negative curve - due to gravity. Breast implants have the positive circular shape and are the cause of this unnatural structure showing up in a lot of cg and comic book art. (most life drawing courses won't hire models with implants)

Looks Fine!

Still i think it is a little young looking, prehaps making the face a little less rounded could help too.

i think the lates version is more strange that the previous. The nipple peircings are weird, but the hair is good, makes her look real

I think she looks amazing, and if you modelled her really in one night, you are one hell of a modeller. It would get me something like 3 weeks to get the face right.
One thing: I would remove the pinch of the skin where the arm meets the cyber-arm. It is too realistic, almost clinically realistic. Like something ugly you would see in a hospital. Keep it smooth, it will be less real but sexier.
Just a tought,

Renato

Seems to be too much white of eye showing on the outer corners; it`s giving her a squint. It`s cute, but it`s a squint! :)

Nice job....may i ask how you do the skin material?
Or is it all done by the lighting?
I like the style, and would have some similar touch to my characters...

not so much stuff for this week end update..
the base for the pant and boot are done.. but i still have to detail them later ...

humm.. i dont know.. may be she would get a kind of body armor..or something in this direction.....
but i still have to figure .. wich kind of vehicle..i want to give here ....

@Lynx3d
thanx..
i use some gradient.. but the look come mostly from the lightning :-)

I like the model. On the close ups her nose looks a bit pointy, also the inner bottom part of the ear looks like it has a sharp edge? Also the part just above her breast has a bit of a crease although with close this doesn't really matter does it? I like your work and style :D

DOH i meant clothes not close. sheesh i am a moron sometimes.

Lol, good model. Only thing i can see wrong, is if you look at her crotch, it looks like she has some really tight pants, or isn't wearing a thong :P Lol, you can make out all the details, you might want to fix that?

I would give ..... if I could model like Christophe!

I realy like her. Nice desse style.

The boots look clumsy to walk in.
The skin and lighning are great.
The wireframe is awesom. How many polys?

-How do you start such a model? Box or poly or spline modelling?
-Are the eyelashes polys?
