loebek,

I think the mesh is very good. You've done what I think a lot of other people overlook and that is, you've kept it simple. I think for only 85 patches, your model says a lot. (I usually have more then 85 patches in my characters fingers let alone the rest of the body). Now having said that, you could problably make it a little more interesting with a bit more geometry but I think what you have is nice.

I think he'd definately make a good cel-shaded character.

Well, I'm probably not the one to ask but I've heard the BESM (which stands for Big Eyes Small Mouth) is a good shader. You'll find that in the shader list on the surface editor.

I like it: he`s got atitude! The celshaded look will be great!

You could save on polys and improve your animation by taking the eyes out of the mesh and making them separate objects. They could then be rendered at a lower subdivision, or even be frozen into polys, without any loss of smoothness.

How about one tooth poking up from the lower jaw?

he already has some tooth. i did not show them because I asked about the wireframe.
Good idea about the eye. so I can animate it later, too.
