I'm liking the RoboHelp system with 8, but just wondering if there are PDF manuals to be found...

Sorry if this was asked, I did a search but way too many unrelated hits came up!

thx
Andrew

They are not yet available. None of us have the pdf files yet. Someone from Newtek - Chuck or Proton said they will be available when the manuals are finished.

I'd like to add my plea for PDF docs. The RoboHelp is a nice idea, but the execution is flawed. I can find things much faster in Acrobat than RoboHelp, and have been doing so for quite a while with the 7.5 docs.

What's sort of interesting is that some of the docs (SDK, I think, but it was late and I was bleary) have internal chapter number references from when they were all one big document. And of course, the chapter number references (no hyperlink, just "as described in Chapter 12") is useless in RoboHelp.

Also, "Preview" on my G5 is fairly SCREAMING FAST compared to the regular reader... Hmmm....
